Solution 2: Reset Taskbar Settings

  2. 2Expand "Taskbar corner overflow"
  3. 3Toggle all app icons off, then back on
  4. 4Also check: Other system tray icons
  5. 5Ensure apps you need are enabled
  6. 6If settings page is unresponsive, try via Registry:

  8. 8Navigate to: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3
  9. 9Delete the "Settings" value
  10. 10Restart Explorer

Solution 3: Clear Icon Cache

  1. 1Open Command Prompt as Administrator
  2. 2Close Explorer first:
  3. 3taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
  4. 4Delete icon cache files:
  5. 5del /f /s /q %localappdata%\IconCache.db
  6. 6del /f /s /q %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\iconcache*
  7. 7Start Explorer again:
  8. 8start explorer.exe
  9. 9Icons will rebuild automatically
  10. 10Check the taskbar overflow menu
