We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data from your computer
License verification uses only your license key - no personal information

Limitations & Honesty

RescuePC is a powerful toolkit, but it's not magic. Here's what it can'tdo — so you know exactly what you're getting.

Hardware failures

RescuePC fixes software and configuration issues. It cannot repair a failing hard drive, bad RAM, or a dead motherboard.

Malware removal (full)

RescuePC includes basic security hardening and can fix Windows Defender, but it is not a replacement for dedicated antivirus/anti-malware software.

Data recovery

If files have been deleted or a drive is corrupted, RescuePC cannot recover lost data. Use dedicated data recovery tools for that.

Every Windows problem

Some issues require a clean Windows reinstall, BIOS updates, or driver-level fixes that go beyond what automated scripts can safely do.

macOS or Linux

RescuePC is Windows-only. It supports Windows 10 and 11 with legacy support for Windows 7/8.1. No Mac or Linux support.

Guaranteed results

Every PC is different. While our repairs fix the most common issues, individual results depend on root cause, hardware, and system state.

We'd rather be upfront about what we can't do than overpromise and underdeliver. That's why we offer a 14-day refund policy — no questions asked.

  • •Runner executable validates repair IDs against a signed whitelist manifest
