- •"Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing" error

- ⚠Disk cloning did not include recovery partition
- ⚠WinRE disabled or path broken in configuration

Solutions
Solution 1: Check and Re-enable WinRE
- 1Open Command Prompt as Administrator
- 2Run: reagentc /info
- 3If it shows "Windows RE status: Disabled":
- 4Run: reagentc /enable
- 5If it succeeds: the recovery environment is restored
- 6Run: reagentc /info again to verify status is "Enabled"
Solution 2: Rebuild Recovery from Windows Installation Media
- 1If reagentc /enable fails: you need the recovery image
- 2Download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft
- 3Create a bootable USB or download the ISO
- 4Mount the ISO > navigate to sources\install.wim
- 5Extract the winre.wim file using DISM or 7-Zip
- 6Copy winre.wim to C:\Recovery\WindowsRE\
- 7Run: reagentc /setreimage /path C:\Recovery\WindowsRE
- 8Run: reagentc /enable
Solution 3: Create Recovery Drive as Alternative
- 1If recovery partition can't be restored:
- 2Search "Create a recovery drive" in Start
- 3Check "Back up system files to the recovery drive"
- 4Insert a USB drive (16 GB minimum)
- 5Follow the wizard — this creates a bootable recovery USB
- 6Store this USB safely — you can boot from it if Windows fails
