- 1Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc (Pro/Enterprise only)
- 2Navigate to: User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar
- 3Find "Remove Notifications and Action Center"
- 4Ensure it's set to "Not Configured" or "Disabled"
- 5Click Apply, then restart Explorer
- 6For Windows Home: check registry at HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
