Solutions

Solution 1: Enable Print to PDF Feature

  1. 1Settings → Apps → Optional features → More Windows features
  2. 2Find "Microsoft Print to PDF" → check the box → OK
  3. 3If already checked: uncheck → OK → restart → recheck → OK → restart
  4. 4This re-registers the Print to PDF printer
  5. 5Alternative: CMD as Admin:
  6. 6DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:Printing-PrintToPDFServices-Features /All
  7. 7Restart PC after enabling

Solution 2: Reinstall Print to PDF Printer

Solution 3: Fix Blank or Missing PDFs

  1. 1If PDF creates but is blank:
  2. 2Try saving to a simple path like C:\Users\YourName\Desktop\test.pdf
  3. 3Avoid special characters in filename: no #, %, &, etc.
  4. 4Ensure the save path is under 260 characters total
  5. 5Check Print Spooler: services.msc → Print Spooler → should be Running
  6. 6If stopped: right-click → Start
  7. 7Clear print queue: stop Print Spooler → delete files in C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS → start Print Spooler
